Privacy Policy

At Vector Display, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers and prospective customers. In particular, we want you to know that Vector Display is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. In this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it and how we keep it secure.

When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not give Google permission to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

We use a third-party provider, Swiftpage, to deliver our newsletter. For more information, please see Swiftpage’s privacy notice. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. On occasions we might send follow up emails if specific, relevant links have been followed. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Gordon at vector (all one word) display dot co dot uk

An exhibition stand is often purchased and used by a company for many years. It is not unusual for companies to own an exhibition stand frame for 10 years or more. Over the 20+ years Vector Display has been in business we have diligently tracked the makes and models of display stands owned by our customers and prospective customers. We need this information if we are to provide new frame components or graphic panels with the correct fixings. Marketing managers (the majority of Vector Display’s orders historically come from “marketing managers”) come and go and information on display equipment is forgotten. We find that our archived notes are of use to the companies we serve. Our record of this information is stored under a company’s name with a note of our current contact. This information is not of a personal nature but should you wish us to wipe the record of the company you work for please email Gordon at vector (all one word) display dot co dot uk

All data is stored on a PC at our premises which is password protected with the password protected database (Act! Contact manager) accessible by just one employee, Gordon Robinson.

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to

This Policy was last reviewed 24th May 2018. At that time, we held a total of 2,400 records and on average sent out 1,600 newsletter emails every 2 months, mostly to Marketing Managers at companies who are either existing customers or who we have previously tendered for their business or had telephone/email contact related to their display equipment / exhibition stand requirements. I am going through the process of trimming back our records to comply with GDPR requirements.
